Watchdog clears L’Etoile to buy cosmetics chain Podruzhka

MOSCOW, Jan 14 (PRIME) -- The Federal Antimonopoly Service has cleared Russia’s Alcor and Co, which runs perfumes and cosmetics chain L’Etoile, to buy Taber Trade, which manages cosmetics chain Podruzhka, also known as Podrygka, a spokesperson for the watchdog told PRIME on Tuesday.

L’Etoile currently manages around 900 stores in over 200 Russian cities. Podruzhka, founded in 2005, has over 200 stores, mostly in Moscow and the Moscow Region.
